David Hurn: “Getting the four of them to pose together was almost impossible. They were just never in the same place at the same time. In hindsight I think it must have been an elaborate ploy on their part but at the time it didn’t occur to me. They were actually being filmed at the time I took this picture. I was positioned just behind the camera crew snapping away. There was no dialogue so I didn’t have to worry about making a noise with the shutter. The actual positioning of the shot is again a ploy to make it look like there is a hidden meaning behind the scene, which of course there isn’t - it’s just Dick Lester making it look intriguing.”
